ODU’s Undergraduate Research Symposium is an opportunity for student scholars to showcase their research and scholarship. Students have an opportunity to present their work in a public forum. As a distance learner, I presented a live virtual poster during the event's digital showcase and was also the first URS student to present an oral lecture live and online via Zoom. This demonstrates the ability to utilize digital media communication in an effort to present to groups.
