During one of my Communication courses at ODU, I wrote about the impact of negative verbal and nonverbal communication between caregivers and their children. In particular, it includes the severe diagnosis of Reactive Attachment Disorder and how certain others, like adoptive parents and mentors, can utilize effective communication styles to make a positive difference in these children’s lives.
